Never know anything about wind or aerodynamics, but I do no now. Still it is no use. We have so many trains and buses plying around daily but none are harvesting the energy that is getting lost. Wind that is generated.
Small Vertical Axis wind turbines which will occupy less space can be placed on the media, as the day traffic moves they will rotate and generate electricity. It may not be enough but can be used for street lighting.
If you have more space then you can combine both wind and sun the primary source of energy known to man kind.
